Ride along with # 8

In an effort to keep my mind of the loss of Beamer.  I decided to go on a little ride along/date with my husband.  Destination...Dollar General Cross Plains.   I was going to make sure that all procedures were followed to a T to report back to the boss. Fun date right :).

I will say that #8 opened the van door for me like a gentleman should.  Then got right in and started his paperwork and mileage.

My surroundings were a little scary.  Something out of a bad scary movie.  Im pretty sure it needs a woman's touch and some better organization.  Kinda felt like it could be used as a torture chamber.
I did extremely well until we got on the interstate.  As you know....I hate the interstate..But in this van...That I now lovingly call "The Death Trap"  It felt like we were going 700 miles an hour and all the stuff in the back was clanking.  I just pictured meat cleavers in the back for some reason.    I held on and prayed the 4.5 Miles would be over quickly.

We arrived in the rain to our destination

Believe it or not, the doors were open.. The store was cold.  It's easy to think the stores are crazy when you are in a warm office.   #8 went right on in and checked in on the IVR as required by MY law.  LOL
# 8 Is proud of that clipboard!

Hard at work getting advise from #1

Unfortunately #8 had to submit a quote which he hates, but it was nice to know he followed all procedures and does GL and IIM and his wife proud.

After a day of crying and puffy eyes...I survived....The loss of a family member....and the "Death Trap"

*****Note....Can anyone tell I'm losing weight...I hope to god someone can :)******

  1. Karen,

You are beautiful just the way you are, but I am so proud of your decision to start a health plan for yourself. You are such an encouragement to me and everyone around you, please let me know if there is anything I can do to help support your fitness/health goals. I appreciate your friendship.

Ps. very brave of you to go road tripping with #8 :)
