Presents and big news

This is what was waiting for me on the kitchen table when I woke up.

Boys.   So glad I am now terrified of spiders.  Its FISH I would pass out over.  

I also went a little bit blonder this week.

Ok...ok...ok....What has been damage....I will tell you.  I have been in transit into a new position at work.  Due to some circumstances that I REFUSED to deal with I was miserable.  That is all over.  I have now been offered the position of Administrative Assistant.  It has only been 2 days but I feel like a HUGE weight has been lifted off me. I no longer have to deal what I was dealing with before. Makes me super happy :)  I hope everyone has a super Memorial Day weekend.  God is good.

Let me start out by saying.  She has become a household name.

My mother.  Bless her heart.  LOVES her some Sarah Palin.  What they have in common but being republican I have NO idea.  Im not sure my Mom has set foot in the woods.  But no matter what we are discussing over the phone. I could be telling her that aliens have desended,...if Sarah Palin comes on TV ...This is what I hear

"Sarah Palins.......soft mumbles.....CLICK...Dial tone........"
I am left in silence.  Wondering if the said aliens have in fact abducted my Mother.
You can be Sarah Palened for anything.  I get Sarah Palened for American Idol, Monday-Wed Vitamins, and of course my other siblings.

So this is where I spend my life.  I would show you a picture of my Greschner, BUT he does not allow photo's.  I'm sure if he was captured, it could be sold for a high price at auction.

Someone has a BUN in the Oven

Don't get excited!  Its not me.  I am however excited because my dear friend *W*  is having a baby.  She is due at the first of October.  It is a BOY.  Not sure how I feel about that.  I need to dress something if frills.  Mommy and Baby are doing fine so far. 
Here is the list of things I need to do  *W*  needs to do before the baby comes
1.  Name the baby
2. Decorate the nursery
3. Register
4. Buy tons of new stuff
Well I did put my vote in for "Elijah" for the name.  I'm pretty sure she might block my cell phone number in the near future.  All jokes aside.  Congrats to *W* & *J*  I am super excited for us you both.

I delivered her Kittens on Easter
She pulled me through my divorce
I drove her stick shift down the street one time and did not die
She bathed Nekid with my husband....(When they were babies)
She is an angel in disguise.

Little Women

I did not get to make it home for Mother's Day BOOO.  However, my sister did.  She took my Mom and my Cha Cha on a dinner cruise.  The only thing missing from this picture is ME.  I have been blessed with an extremely small family.  These women were responsible for raising me.

My mom to push me and make sure I behaved.  She is my best friend.  I never really wanted to much for anyhing.  It has been tough, but we made it.  I miss her so much everyday.  I know I probably call her too much....for only being 2.5 LONG hours away. She is my ROCK

Cha Cha....Always the escape and nurse.  All of us to this day.  In our 30's and 40's, still want to go to Cha Cha's for bed parties.  We get in our Jammies, crawl in bed and watch movies and let Cha Cha spoil us and scratch our backs.  Nothing like a sack of Krystals and a good movie.

I start out by saying POOR Bridget.  My dear sister.  She was definitely on the down side of a spirited younger sister.  I put her through misery I am sure.  She always made sure we had what we needed though.  She did however tell on my when I shimmied the roof.   Unsure how I went from that to being afraid to make a left hand turn across traffic.  BUT, God knows.

I thank the Lord for these Women everyday.  I would like to send a shout out though to the rest of the family not mentioned.
My Brother Scott/I miss you, I love you, but still mad at you.
My only cousin Tony/I hate that you are so Nocturnal. I hate that we can't hang out like we did in the day when I lived closer.  Never knew when you would knock on my door.
Granny/I cant even put into words how hard it is not to pick up the phone and call you.  I still think about it sometimes. I hear alot of you in Mom and Cha Cha.  You are dearly missed.  I know you are somewhere smoking a cigarette with an angel fussin about something *wink*

I'm a stepmother, so let me define

What a stepmother is, at least in my mind

A stepmother cares for her family and home

And loves her step kids like they were her own

She fixes their meals, treats a cold, ties a shoe

Anything that a kid's real mom would do

A stepmother consoles you when you feel sad

And hands out a punishment if you are bad

She'll tuck you in bed and read you a story

And yet, it's the real mom that gets all the glory

When mother's day comes and then just slips by

With no card, and no hug, though she really feels sad

She won't let you see it, won't let you feel bad

She feels like an outsider but tries to fit in
