Happy Feet

Well I have been super quiet...a blessing to most I assume.  Concentrating on working out and all the crazy stuff at work.  I have been clompin around doing P90X in some horrible shoes.  I have waited and researched and finally they have arrived.  VIBRAMS BABY

It is taking some getting used to!  But I am liking them pretty good.   Fashion statement of course. 

Speaking of fashion, my friend Tonya is making scarfs.  She is very talented.  Here is my scarf in bubble gum pink :)

I also embarked on a shakeology cleanse that lasted 3 days.  Let me tell you.  3 shakes/2 cups green tea/130 oz of water/and a small salad for 3 days.   I was drained

Everyone on the cleanse lost 5-10 pounds.  Not this girl.   Who didnt cheat and worked out and did everything right.  1 flippen pound.  Thats ok.  Total weight loss this month so far 15 pounds!

**BRING IT***

I know some of you may have been watching on Facebook, but actually tomorrow actually starts my P90x Challenge.     I did a little test run the last few weeks and managed to lose myself 12 pounds.  Amazing right.  I have a long way to go.  I had to take take the good AWEFULL before pictures and measure the whole body.  Very eye opening to what I have become.  BUT the good news, is that everyone has a chance to start a journey like this and bring it and get yourself in tip top shape.  There is an amazing support team out there with Beach body that I never expected.  So don't be surprised to be seeing a lot posts as I embark on this journey.   I am super excited to finally get a Magic bullet.  Im pretty sure Ill be able to do amazing things with it.  I will share that too.

Bet you can't guess where we were last Sunday

That's right.  HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS.  I was an amazing show.  It was a great afternoon with family and got to see some other pretty special people!  What a blessing this Christmas gift was.  I just had one problem.  I am really blind.  Its getting kind of scary.  I could have been courtside and not seen them very well!  Having a degenerative eye disorder is NO fun.  But the commentary from the show helped out so much!

Happy New Year

2011 I am so glad its gone.  It has has its ups and downs like any year.  I am so looking forward to the newness and positive 2012 that is here.

  2011 brought the loss of Kisha. Who is missed dearly.

The boys venture in Running away over the summer.  Thank the lord that they were returned!


We have had a rough year job wise for Kevin and I.  Kevin moving on through a couple of jobs during his unemployment.  He finally though has a job and employer that says makes him happier than he has ever been.  This is truly a blessing to us as a family and to Kevin to work for such a great person.    On my end, just learning to deal with people in general.   I have learned that no matter what you do, someone is not going to be happy.   I have learned that some people are just ugly and you have to pray for them and not take it personally.  I have also learned that its ok to have just a very small group of close friends.  That are tried and true.  That foundation helps when people are out to get our use you for something, information, or just to be mean.


But through the good and the bad,  God has blessed us.  2012 is truly going to be an amazing year.   For me it is going to be a year of positive thinking.   It is time to step up, make changes, and see the sunshine behind the clouds of he past year.  I know it all seem cliche' at the new year. BUT, this is not a new years resolution. It just seems to be falling at the right time. 

For those of my trusty 3 followers that don't know, joined the Beach Body challenge.  Time to get healthy and lose some of this weight.   I will also be putting forth the Xtreme effort to not worry and fret what others think of me. Truth is, I can not please everyone.  I tend to kill myself trying.    We are moving into an error of peace and calmness in my world.
