mail and stuff

I was so excited to open the mail Saturday.   I got to see the faces of my Sister and her family.   I just do not get to see them enough.

Bailey/Bridget/Bill/Brielle

They are amazing!   I feel like I am totally missing them grow up and Bridget grow old....LOL

My children are just as spoiled as you can imagine.   It has been a short week at work and got to spend some quality puppy time.

How can you resist those faces!

Tomorrow it is back to full week at work.   Seems like there are more changes in the air in that area of my life.   We will see.

Happy New Year! 2013

Now that we are 6 days into the new year, I have finally gotten to sit down and and say a few words.    What do you say to start off a new year?  I have gone over and over this in my mind.   Should I re-cap 2012?   I decided that would be NO.   I am not going to dwell on what is behind me.  I am off to a NEW start.   There are several things I need to work on this year.

1.  Not stewing over what I can't change!
2.  Protect myself and my emotional well being.
3.  Keeping in touch better with my friends.
4.  Blogging/read more
5.  Spending more time with my family
6.  Not letting work consume me
7.  Purge my house.  The clutter is getting of hand.  Needs serious organzion
8.  Be healthier
9.  Watch what I spend(I am currently saving every receipt)
10. Not allowing anyone to treat me inferior
11.  Think Positive
12. Take more pictures
13. Enjoy the fur/feather babies

And most importantly, grow closer to God.

I hope the new year brings health and happiness to all of you out there.

Peace

Kevin is headed to take the boys to Michigan.   It is so quiet.  The house is clean.  Utter bliss right now.  I found the blanket I started crocheting 3 years ago. (pretty sure it ran away from the damage i was causing it)  I have decided it is not so bad, and I might be a crocheting ninja in training.   My fingers are back at it again.    Its nice to have something to work on.

Might be getting a Keurig.   I wish I had one to play with before I make the leap.   Here is the big dog

No matter what i read or watch, i still haven't managed to find out how the iced beverage part works.  Not impressed if you just put the hot coffee on ice.  I want a button to push and cold tea and coffee will come out?  Anyone know?

Christmas is a few days away.  I have had such a horrible week, I have not one ounce of spirit left.    I am surrounding myself with happy thoughts and peace.   I envision myself in my big fluffy bed, cup of Kuerig brewed coffee, new down comforter.  I have my crocheting next to me for easy access, along with my laptop and Kindle to read.    No one telling me I am ignoring them, no one expecting me to cook or clean.  Messes being cleaned up on there own so when i do come back to reality I don't have to clean.  LOL  A few days of that, and I think I would be throttled down.

I hope everyone out there is having a fantastic Christmas season.    If you love to decorate, visit my fellow blogger's site below.    I wish I had the patience for all that she creates.

Ashley's Avenue

Some of the balls on her tree's, are bigger than my tree.  She obviously has well behaved animals.

I am sure you are just dying for my next post, but pinterest needs me too.

*****Thinking of some sort of project for the new year.  Like Iphone picture of the day.   Thoughts?

Christmas is coming....HO HO HO

We had to make a touch decision regarding the tree.   Frasier ruins all our ornaments every year.  Stealing them and eating them.   He is such the little sneak!   We opted to do a small tree this year.  It was a small step for me anyway.  Not to overwhelming!

It is cute!  We named it Bob!

My Mom came up for a visit.  Of course it was short.   She is the most beautiful person I know.

I forced myself to the Christmas party.    I love parties!  I love Christmas.  I struggle with people who are ugly on the inside.   Seems like there are alot of those where I work.  There are many good people though.  I had to take a minute to remember that.  I have the best team too.  So Kevin and I went.   There were a couple of highlights of the evening.   One I can not speak of here even though I would love to be tacky.  HAHA.  The other was I got to see Coleman.  He is on my team and have not gotten to seen him since this summer due to him perusing his edumacation.

This is all I got.  I brought my small camera.  I forgot that Kevin had taken out my memory card and put in the nice big honker.  So I was stuck with not much.  I promise to do better.    Its probably good, because the devil in me would have gotten some interesting snapshots.   Children could be viewing this and that would be inappropriate.  HAHA.

The Iphone takes good pictures too.  I am committing to blog better, blog more often.     So much stuff goes through my mind that I am sure the masses need to read!

See yall soon

Maggie's Adjustment

Bless her heart!  She is a wild child.  We bought her a playpen.  Her little bed fit in it and everything.  The heifer broke out and ruined the zipper.   She can not be left out though, do to her potty issues.  She is spoiled rotten, and has made herself right at home.   Frasier loves her!   She is definitely becoming a McPherson with time.

Visit from Oregon and tid bits

It was 6months in the making, but my co-worker/friend that works out of Oregon was able to come spend the week with us and work in the office.  I was so excited and so worried at the same time.   I have been suffering from depression and not feeling well for quite sometime.  Not holding food down.  Losing 33 pounds in a months time.  Struggling period.  Anyone who has ever struggled knows what I mean.

I started feeling a tad better the week before Dani got here.  I was terrified she would not have a good time.   I could not wait for her to get off the plane.  jeri went with Kevin and I to get her.  The first place she wanted to go was Dollar General!   She never has seen one.   We took her to the big show.  DG Corporate.

We took her Demo's and then to The Opryland Hotel to see the lights.   It was a madhouse.  And seriously....21.82 to park.  Highway robbery.  Anyhooo, I always wanted to get married in the Magnolia lobby of the hotel.   I could not focus on the lights because I wanted to get to the lobby.   I literally forced Kevin to take a picture with me where I was supposed to descent the stairs.

And of course Dani was not getting away with no picture there either!

Jeri was our guide through the hotel!

And well Kevin was of course being Kevin......The Nutcracker did not have a prayer!

It was good to be around people period.    I struggled with not feeling well some still, but felt more like myself!

New Addition

We have a new addition to our family.  We rescued a Yorkie from a puppy mill raid in Sumner County.  She is precious.  Just maybe 3 pounds.  She was in horrible conditions.

Story on Puppy Mill Raid

We are working on potty training.  She had never been outside before we got her.   She was locked in a cage just to have sex.  They were rolling around in their own feces :(  These people would just clean up a puppy and sell them for lots of money.  They should be locked up.  As a matter of fact the woman is possibly going to get to keep 2 of the puppies.

Here is the thing.  We have not names her.  Nothing seems to seem right.  I know eventually she will have one.  Does not appear to be anytime soon.  So with out further adooooo

Miss No Name McPherson

***ANY NAME SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED***
