Its official! My Dreams are CRUSHED

First of all I realized I was old when I came to the knowledge that I am too OLD for American Idol....Well pish posh, I still had my dream of living in Buckingham Palace and wearing the crown jewels.*****crickets*******

I am horribly upset that my place in the palace was taken by that biddy perfectly elegant beautiful classy Kate!  I really had to pull out all the stops to recover.

They make me feel magical!  That biddy Kate is surely jealous of these.  She may have the crown jewels, but I have the crown shoes.  Also, it is very beneficial hat they anger people just at the site of them!

In other news at the McPherson house, THE RAIN HAS STOPPED

We still have a nice pool :)

Welcome to the first edition of ***MUST HAVE MONDAY*** (Said in the weirdest ringside wrestler voice)

Every Monday I will be posting one of my my MUST HAVES.  I do expect that it will be bigger that Oprah's favorite things.  After all, I now have 2 yes count them 2 followers. 
To start off, I have to say I never have thought of spending more that $2.00 on fingernail polish.  I am a cheap one that way. However, as i was surfing facebook.....I saw my friend Natasha's picture and she had the most AMAZING color nail polish on.  I quickly ran out went to every drug store until I found it.  Then I almost fainted because it was $8.00.  So I bit the bullet.  TOTALLY WORTH EVERY PENNY.  The color matches everything.  Kinda Brown/Purple/Gray...I have never had so many compliments. The brush is fatter than normal, and it is suppose to be a complete manicure.  IT SO IS.  No top coat/quick to dry/hardly chips!

Not going to lie.  This week has been a huge struggle.  My self esteem and confidence has been dragged through the mud.  Its hard when you deal with someone that has to be little everyone to make themselves look better.  It takes a toll after a while.  But the Lord is good and I have made it through the week.  We had an awesome date night with the family.  We do not go out like this often.  So it was nice.   We went to Chili's.  Avacado burger won for best burger

Stephen took this down in about 5 minutes.  Please disregard the lovely Horrid Hurley shirt that he tortures me with.

We then got to see Soul Surfer.  I wish I had an attitude like her.  Bethany Hamilton is DEFINITELY a glass is totally full kind of girl.  I need to learn from her. Check the movie out!

We have been working on cleaning up on this wonderful stormy Sunday.  The house smells AMAZING with my new candle.

So lets talk Cheese

Call me crazy, but is like a drug.  Especially my new favorite FONTINA.  Over the holidays we had

CARRABBA'S POLLO ROSA MARIA

It was totally amazing.  I am of course partial to all things Italian. This was chicken that was stuffed with fontina and ham.  Of course we did not have the ham, BUT it was AMAZING to say the least. I immediately came home and tired to find a knock of recipe.  I found one right away and I figured I was on my way. WRONG. Portland and surrounding areas does not have the best selection of cheese crack. So finally 4 months later I actually ran into some Fontina in the specialty cheese isle at Walmart in Franklin.  My long search ended and that $8.00 cheese came home with me. Last night we had the dish and all everyone could say is. That is the best cheese.   I now know I dont have to put all the time in effort in this recipe, just give them the cheese.  This afternoon we are having Fontina cheese bagels *wink* I am excited, yet very saddened because it is the last of the cheese.  I may go through withdrawl till I find it again.  So make sure you grab some whenever you see it.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner

Kevin got the job **insert happy clappy smiley**
He is super tired.  He has been on the road working 12 hours a day.  We are totally blessed.  Every prayer we had was answered in this one job.  Here he is trying out his new equipment

We are all adjusting to the new situation. I miss him terribly when he is gone.  But it makes it just that much sweeter when he comes home. 

On a complete other topic.  I got my hair cut.  Liking it pretty good.  As you all know I got butchered a year ago or so and am still in recovery.
