Spring Cleaning

Well I have been sick sick sick.  I woke up and decided that all bedding and curtains etc in that room needed to be washed.   In the process I cleaned the ficus trees as well as the other flower arrangements.  I ended up breaking one of them down.  I used a few flowers to put in this here Mason Jar :)     Pay no attention to the mess.  Still cleaning.

I turned the base of the original plant into a place for my hair bobs and trinkets.

I am only taking on a few things at a time.  I will keep you all posted!

Happy Birthday To Me!

Well it has been years in the making!  Here is is folks.

Kindle Fire!  I am learning how to use it.  So far I have been unsuccessful in blogging, and transferring CD's.  LOL.  I will overcome!

Where have I been??

So apparently I have been living in the dark ages!  Did yall know that there are famous cakes out there where little baked in babies.  Creepy I know.  I guess New Orleans's traditions are a tad different than what I am accustomed too.   But I was the only person who didn't know what a Randazzo's King Cake was.  "AKA"  Fetus cake.  I can not lie.  It was delicious.  Raquel will apparently have all kinds of good luck for getting the piece with the baby in it.

Not much left to say.  I will be having another one of these someday.  Just not soon.  This is carb overload for some of us!!

But while eating like the Cajun's.  Dress Like the Cajuns.

Please note the nails above.  I also did not know about Shellacking.  Those are my real nails.  Amazing.   When you live in your office you tend to not know how wonderful somethings are!

Valentines Day

Well that time of year has come around again.  I am not a huge fan.  I mean, I would totally not be a girl if I didn't love flowers and goodies.  I am however as I get older, realizing the impact on young girls and self esteem of people everywhere who sit around and watch everyone around them getting flowers and gifts and they feel like there is something wrong with them if they do not get anything.  It is a shame.

I was very lucky this year.  Kevin treated me to a much needed night out alone :)  He was trying to be very sneaky.  We were both exhausted and managed not to fall asleep at dinner.

He surprised me with a little friend to ride along with me.

We all know I have an issue with candles.  I had no idea Yankee made a Cherry.

He had the biggest steak I ever saw.  How cute with his glasses and work clothes

The rest of the evening is none of yalls business :)

I will however share a new cutesy song

Breaking Dawn and other Stuff

It was well worth the wait, as I sunk into the fantasy world that is Twilight.  I know..Silly..Unrealistic....I don't care though.   Who can resist a love story.  Not this girl.  I have to say though, as time goes on, I am learning to love Jacob more and more :)  I will be excited when the entire series is out and I can own it.
I mean who would not love spending the day like this.  At the beach..Playing chess.  Looking beautiful.
I guess the teenage girl will never leave me.

Back in the real world, I have had a horrible cold that has dragged out for the entire week.  I am unsure if its due to stress of work and the loss of Beamer.  All I know is I am tired of it.    I want to be able to breathe again.   I just want to stay in bed and sleep and sleep.   I have not worked out and would like to return to normal.  The good thing about being sick is that Kevin fought the battle of the house cleaning.

Big happenings have happened at ole IIM.  We are still expanding and growing.  We got the suite next door as well. I have hired tons of new people and so has accounting.   Hopefully the new will wash out the old nastiness.  The place needs a change of atmosphere.  Still praying in certain areas there for resolution.  I am sure it will come....or I will go mad.

Valentines day and my Birthday are right around the corner.  Not so exciting as it used to be.   I hate the magic is gone from all the holidays.  Once again the teenage girl will never leave me. As I always say, Some people were just born with glitter in their veins. A lot of reflection going on right now on what is what and where I want this next year to go.  I am sure more to follow on that.  But for now, its off to bed I go.
