Good Bye Beamer

This week ended in tragedy.  My beloved Yorkie that I have had for 8 years had to be turned over to Animal control.  Kevin and Beamer were snuggling in bed, and Beamer all of a sudden growled and bit Kevin in the face by the ear.   We believe that last week that Beamer bit the tip of Frasier's ear as well.  I sobbed half the day.  My heart is broken.  We drove him to the animal control and he jumped right out and went with they guy in his little sweater.  I guess he was just old and getting senile, but you can't risk that around children or adults at that.  The house seems empty.  What kills me the most is I wish they would have just put him down.  But because of the bite, he has to be quarantined and then will be put down Valentines day.
